Noche Buena

Emily Kinney, Perak, and Ralph Belanger. Another one of my Christmas artworks.

To explain this:

- Noche buena and navidad are the Spanish terms for Christmas Eve. Filipinos celebrate this occasion after the Misa de Gallo.

- Puto bumbong is a native Filipino delicacy made of purple galapong, and served with grated coconut.

- Bibingka is a type of rice cake eaten during the Christmas season.

- Ham is made out of pork, and served during Christmas. Other kinds of ham are made out of turkey and chicken.

- Leche flan is a custard dessert made of eggs and milk. A popular Spanish name for caramel custard.

Well, my family celebrates Noche Buena. Happens every once in a year.
